Once again, Marin Athletic Foundation needs your support in helping to provide funds to enhance the health and safety for high school student athletes in Marin. In this County, ensuring that all high school student athletes have a safe athletic experience is our mission. Your donation dollars go directly to support high school athletic programs in Marin. 

 

With the support of community partners, many Marin high schools will be able to provide services such as baseline concussion testing, safety equipment and athletic trainers to their student athletes. Athletics are such an important part of a child’s life, and a catalyst for many to be successful students; we want to ensure the experience is a positive one.

 

In addition to the Health and Safety Initiative, MAF also has a Scholarship Program. To date, a total of 70 scholarships have been awarded to our Outstanding Student Athlete award winners. Thus, creating a legacy of supporting our athletes and enabling MAF to make an investment in the student athletes as they continue on to become future leaders in our community.

 

Our schools provide an exceptional education for our students. Public funding from state and local sources fall short of covering the full cost of a child’s education, especially one that includes meaningful and sustained athletic participation. The greater community is critical to bridging that gap. With the generosity of individuals and businesses, like you, we are able to offer this support to athletes and coaches.

 

Please help the Marin Athletic Foundation make a difference by participating in our annual golf tournament on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Indian Valley Golf Club in Novato.  The cost is $250 per golfer and includes lunch and a buffet dinner post-play.
