Chad Stuart is a lifelong Marin resident. He grew up in Woodacre and currently resides in San Anselmo with his wife Nicole, son Braden and daughter Allison. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley and holds a Masters in Education from San Francisco State University. Chad is currently the Principal at Del Mar Middle School in Tiburon. 

Chad has been in the field of education for 25 years, previously being a Physical Education teacher at White Hill Middle School and served as Assistant Principal at Redwood, Tamalpais, and Archie Williams High Schools. Chad has vast experience in the athletic field, having played basketball in high school at Drake and coached high school athletics for over a decade before he transitioned to his current position as a high school administrator. Chad previously was the varsity boys basketball coach at San Marin High School and also served four years as Athletic Director at Drake High School, being honored by the North Coast Section Athletic Director’s Association with the Norm McKenzie award. Chad is happy to be back in youth sports, now coaching his own kids' CYO basketball teams at St. Anselm’s!

Chad was brought on to the Marin Athletic Foundation Board in 2018 and is excited to be giving his time to benefit high school athletics.
